Cultural Education
Refugee families are taught the routines of American life. They are taught life skills (cooking, cleaning, safety, i.e.), social skills (job training, how to communicate in a different culture, i.e.), and cultural norms. Through the teaching process and the refugees' willingness to learn, these skills grow friendships that last a life time.
