We at Refugee Resources are continually overwhelmed by the goodness of our Lord as we reflect on what He has accomplished in the lives of our students. We'd love to share with you Juliana's story — a story of resilience, persistence, and grace in motion.
Juliana joined the Reading Circle program in July 2015 as a non-reader and struggled for many months before seeing progress. Yet she never gave up. After years of steady hard work and faithful support, Juliana is now in the twelfth grade and is the most advanced student in our program. She is currently enrolled in a college preparation program through her high school and ranks in the top 4% of her class.
Juliana has blossomed into a beautiful young woman, inside and out, and dreams of becoming a nurse or midwife. We cannot wait to see where the Lord will lead her next!

We know it is only through the Lord's mercy and kindness that we've been given the privilege of joining Him in His work among the Dallas refugee community. We thank God for continuing to bring to us little ones from the nations — precious students whom we can serve as His hands, feet, and voice.
We are constantly adding new students to our waiting list and prayerfully rely on the Lord to equip and enable us to serve them well.
We are abundantly grateful for a good God who loves us, and out of that love, sent His one and only Son to die for our sins — that we might be saved and join in His work of bringing His kingdom to earth. We rejoice that one day He will come again to wipe away every tear, right every wrong, and heal every hurt. We are currently raising funds to have an off-duty police officer on site in the evenings, adding a layer of safety and security for our students and mentors.

Beginning November 1st, some refugee families we serve will experience a reduction or loss of SNAP food stamp benefits due to the government shutdown. You can help us bridge the gap by providing funds towards grocery gift cards.
